On a quest to uncover the secrets hidden within the body and deep in the heart. With the longing to serve and heal through connections with magic, movement, and wisdom, she is constantly seeking, driven by the thirst for beauty and truth. Krista teaches alignment-based hatha and vinyasa, using breath and body to guide her students to deeper understandings of themselves with a sense of lightheartedness. Deeply committed to her practice and her teaching, with a genuine desire to help others find and follow their path. You can expect her classes to be deep, playful, full of insight and you will leave feeling lighter, brighter, and uplifted.

In quiet and stillness the roar of thunder within you can be heard. Take time to drift through the ocean of your inner world, that the truth of who you are become known.

Find freedom through laughter. The delight of your feet against the earth. Roam and wander, discover strength in surrender. The body is a doorway, use the breath to find depth.

where to start

Find teachers to inspire and challenge you. Try out different styles to see what fits. Have a clear understanding of what you are looking for out of the practice.

what I practice

Asana (postures), meditation, pranayama (breath-work), self-inquiry, and philosophical study. I fluctuate between seeking out teachers to learn from in all these categories, and applying that in self-practice at home.

Advice

No persons path is the same as another. Explore. Play. Find teachers. Try different styles. Ask questions. Use discernment. Be reflective. Do not shy away from challenge or discomfort. Dance often.
